What a fun session!  Beautiful family, beautiful day, and we even saw some awesome wildlife!!!  A whole family of these little guys!  More wildlife pictures to follow soon!

Last week, the weather was beautiful!  It felt like spring!  The boys and I decided to walk down to the lake and have a picnic!  Now, today, as I sit her writing this, editing pictures, there is snow on the ground!  I am so ready for spring! The ice was melting on the lake and there were so many cool designs in the ice.  The kids and I were trying to see things in the ice, kinda like you do clouds! 

I just love going to the zoo!   Here are a few of my favorites!   These two cuties had birthdays... My favorites are usually the flamingos, but they were pretty far away... but this time I loved these monkeys!  We got to go into their cage!  So much fun! This guy was a little scary!  He was chasing the others and running into walls and making all kinds of noise!  But I loved the colors on his face!  They looked painted on! This lion looked soooo comfortable!  

We enjoyed our Christmas week in the valley this year!  It was soooo nice and warm!  We enjoyed walks outside...  I thought these cacti looked like they were hugging! And then we returned home right before this....  Don't get me wrong... I love the snow!  But does it have to be sooooo cold???    We had -19 degrees the other night!  My washing machine is frozen!  Oh well, no laundry for a couple of days?  I can probably handle that! Hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and new years! Lots of photos coming soon! On our way home from a wedding on saturday, we decided to run by my parents house because my sister was down visiting for the day.  As we were driving there, this is what we saw... And of course, I had my camera!!!  ya!
